9th Renault Start Guild Awards 2014

              9th Renault Star Guild Awards 2014 ceremony took place at National Sports Club of India stadium, Mumbai. The show was hosted by Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan, he had hosted 8th Star Guild Awards 2013 too.



It was pleasant moment when Salman Khan hugged Shahrukh Khan at the stage.

The Best Actor in a Leading Role award was given to Farhan Akhtar for the movie "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" and the Best Actress in a leading role award was given to Deepika Padukone for Chennai Express.
Sushant Singh Rajput received most Promising Debut Male award for movie Kai Po Che! whereas Most Promising Debut Female award was given to Vaani Kapoor for the film Shuddh Desi Romance.

Best Actor in a Comic role- Arshad Warsi for movie Jolly LLB and Varun Sharma for Fukrey
Best Actor In A Supporting Role- Nawazuddin Siddiqui - The Lunchbox
Best Actress In A Supporting Role- Divya Dutta - Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Best Story- Parsoon Joshi for Bhaag Mikha Bhaag

Best Screenplay- Parsoon Joshi for Bhaag Mikha Bhaag
Best Dialogue- Hussain Dalal for movie Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani
Best Choreography- Remo D'Souza for songs Badtameez Dil & Balam Pichkari movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Best Lyrics- Mithoon for the song Tum Hi Ho- movie Aashiqui 2
Best Music- Pritam for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Best Playback Singer- Male -Arijit Singh for Tum Hi Ho (Aashiqui 2)
Best Playback Singer- Female- Bhoomi Trivedi for the song Ram Chahe Leela (Goliyon ki raasleela ram-leela)
Best Performance in a Negative Role- Supriya Pathak - Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela
