Abhishek Bachan at WWF Earth hour campaign

Abhishek Bachan is busy these days in the WWF’s Earth Hour Campaign, he is the Brand Ambassador of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature). MR. Bachan has appealed people to switch off the lights for one an hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on the 27th of March to save much of the electricity from being wasted.

At the announcement of the official Brand Ambassador this year, Shiela Dixit; the Chief Minister of Delhi said that such campaigns are helpful and last year alone in Delhi 700 MW of electricity was saved. Well done Abhishek for these type of positive activities which encourage people to save the resources and save the Earth.

Freida’s spokesperson denies Bond girl role

Freida Pinto’s spokesperson in India Divya Tejuja has said that the Slumdog Millionaire girl will not be playing the Bond girl role.

"It is of course very flattering to even be rumoured to be part of a Bond film but she has certainly NOT been approached for the role of the next Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig as yet,” the New York Daily News quoted Tejuja as saying via email.

So, the news that she is going to play the next Bond girl role is dismissed and as her spokesperson said, was a rumor.

Freida Pinto : the next Bond girl.

The actress, who started her career with the movie Slumdog Millionaire ; (which won Oscar awards) is said to be the next bond girl. She has signed the 23^rd bond movie, which is set in Afghanistan.
“Peter Morgan, who wrote The Queen, has penned the first draft of the script and it promises to be visually stunning.”
Dev Patel, Fieida's boyfriend and the hero of the Slumdog Millionaire is thrilled that his girlfriend was won such a high-profile role.
