New movie releases: 5th march 2010

Today (5th march) 5 new movies are released.
1. Atithi tum kab jaoge?

cast: Ajay Devgan, Paresh Rawal, Konkona Sen Sharma

   This is a comedy film, Ajay devgan has given Golmaal and Golmaan Return which were comedy hits, Paresh Rawal has done many comedy films including Hera Pheri and  Phir Hera Pheri, so it is hoped that this film too is going to entertain a large number of viewers and will make a good business. It is directed by Ashwini Dheer.

2. Road, Movie

       Abhay Deol is playing the main role in this film. Directed by Dev Benegal, this movie is of its own type like abhay deol’s previous film Dev D. I like Abhay Deol’s acting, he has a different charm and style of acting like late 7-, 80 English heroes and he rocks. You must watch this movie.

3. Rokkk

It is a Horror/ Thriller  movie. Tanushree Datta is playing the main role in this film, other cast includes Udita Goswami, Shaad Randhawa, Nishigandha Wad, Rajesh Ranshinge has given the direction.

4. Hello Zindagi

Director Raja Unnithan’s “Hello Zindagi” is also being released on this Friday.

cast includes Milind Gunajee, Mrunmayee Lagoo, Kanwaljeet Singh, Kitu Gidwani, Neena Gupta.

5. Thanks Maa

Starring  Sanjay Mishra, Alok Nath, Barry John, Raghuveer Yadav

is directed by Irfan Kamal .

3 Idiots swept the 55th Filmfare Awards

The 55th Filmfare awards Results have dis-appointed Aamir khan's fans because he is not given the best actor award this year, it was hoped because the movie 3 idiots have broken the records of popularity and business and people have liked "3 idiots" very much.
But over all in other aspects, the 3 idiots have set its records here too, the movie has swept the awards in following categories,
Best Film Award

     Best Director  Rajkumar Hirani,

Best Story by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi,
Best Screenplay by Hirani & Vidhu Vinod Chopra
and the Best Dialogue Award.
     Whereas the best actor award was given to Amitabh Bachan and best actress award went to Vidya Balan both for the movie 'Paa', Bachans were absent from the award ceremony.

 

                      A R Rehman got the Best music award,

Best Lyricist Award was given to Irshad Kamil for the song 'Aaj Din Chaddya' of movie Love aajkal,  Best Playback Singer (Male) award was given to Mohit Chauhan for 'Masakali' (Delhi 6) and the Best Playback Singer (Female) was shared by Rekha Bharadwaj for 'Genda Phool' (Delhi 6) and Kavita Seth for 'Ik Taara'  (Wake Up Sid). Dev D got the Best Cinematographer award
and the Best Action award was given to 'Wanted'.
